Very fast H2 production from the methanolysis of NaBH4 by metal‐free poly(ethylene imine) microgel catalysts 下载免费PDF全文
The polyethyleneimine (PEI) microgels prepared via microemulsion polymerization are protonated by hydrochloric acid treatment (p‐PEI) and quaternized (q‐PEI) via modification reaction with methyl iodide and with bromo alkanes of different alkyl chain lengths such as 1‐bromoethane, 1‐bromobutane, 1‐bromohexane, and 1‐bromooctane. The bare p‐PEI and q‐PEI microgels are used as catalysts directly without any metal nanoparticles for the methanolysis reaction of sodium borohydride (NaBH4). Various parameters such as the protonation/quaternization reaction on PEI microgels, the amount of catalyst, the amount of NaBH4, and temperature are investigated for their effects on the hydrogen (H2) production rate. The reaction of self‐methanolysis of NaBH4 finishes in about 32.5 min, whereas the bare PEI microgel as catalyst finishes the methanolysis of NaBH4 in 22 min. Surprisingly, it is found that when the protonated PEI microgels are used as catalyst, the same methanolysis of NaBH4 is finished in 1.5 min. The highest H2 generation rate value is observed for protonated PEI microgels (10 mg) with 8013 mL of H2/(g of catalyst.min) for the methanolysis of NaBH4. Moreover, activation parameters are also calculated with activation energy value of 23.7 kJ/mol, enthalpy 20.9 kJ/mol, and entropy ?158 J/K.mol. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

This paper presents a neutronics optimization study of a supercritical CO2‐cooled micro modular reactor (MMR). The MMR is a fast‐spectrum reactor designed to be an extremely compact, integrated, and truck‐transportable reactor with 36.2‐MWth power and a 20‐year lifetime without refueling. The reactor uses a drum‐type primary control system and a single absorber rod located at the core center as the secondary ultimate shutdown system. In order to maximize the fuel inventory in a compact fast reactor, hexagonal fuel assemblies are adopted in this work. We compare two types of MMR: One is using U15N fuel, and the other one is based on UC fuel. In addition, the minimization of the core excess reactivity to less than 1 dollar is also achieved in this study by a unique application of a replaceable fixed absorber in order to enhance safety of the MMR core by preventing the possibility of a prompt criticality accident. Moreover, the required number of primary control drums is also reduced through minimization of the excess reactivity. Several important safety parameters such as control rod/drum worth, reactivity coefficients, and power peaking factors are also characterized as a function of core burnup. The neutronics analyses and depletion calculations are all performed using the continuous‐energy Monte Carlo Serpent code with the latest evaluated nuclear data file (ENDF/B‐VII.1) library. Three versions of Japanese Evaluated Nuclear Data Library (JENDL) are briefly explained. The first version, JENDL-1, was made aiming mainly at application to fast reactors. The second version, JENDL-2, was built as a bigger general purpose evaluated nuclear data library. It stores nuclear data for 181 nuclides. It has, however, some drawbacks particularly for fusion neutronics calculation. To remove these drawbacks of JENDL-2 and further extend its applicability, the third version, JENDL-3, has now been made. Numerical analyses have been performed to study the influence of fast depressurization on the wake flow field of the base-bleed unit (BBU) with a secondary combustion when the base-bleed projectile is propelled out of the muzzle. Two-dimensional axisymmetric Navier-Stokes equations for a multi-component chemically reactive system is solved by Fortran program to calculate the couplings of the internal flow field and wake flow field with consideration of the combustion of the base-bleed propellant and secondary combustion effect. Based on the comparison with the experiments, the unsteady variation mechanism and secondary combustion characteristic of wake flow field under fast depressurization process is obtained numerically. The results show that in the fast depressurization process, the variation extent of the base pressure of the BBU is larger in first 0.9 ms and then decreases gradually and after 1.5 ms, it remains basically stable. The pressure and temperature of the base-bleed combustion chamber experience the decrease and pickup process. Moreover, after the pressure and temperature decrease to the lowest point, the phenomenon that the external gases are flowing back into the base-bleed combustion chamber appears. Also, with the decrease of the initial pressure, the unsteady process becomes shorter and the temperature gradient in the base-bleed combustion chamber declines under the fast depressurization process, which benefits the combustion of the base-bleed propellant. 相似文献

归一化互相关测度在光照改变时比采用绝对差之和测度(SAD)要稳定,但是归一化互相关测度的缺陷在于它的计算量非常大。为此,提出了一种结合自适应连续多级分区和初始阈值估计的基于归一化互相关(NCC)的快速模板匹配算法。根据模板图像中不同模块的梯度值,将模板图像进行逐级分区,通过分区顺序将互相关之和分为不同的层,得到各层互相关的上界,运用柯西-施不等式得到上界间的关系,形成自适应连续多级分区淘汰方法。同时,为了加快匹配速度,利用初始阈值估计产生一个较大的边界阈值,以淘汰初始搜索时的大量非匹配点,减少搜索点数目。实验结果表明:所提出的算法具有较好的鲁棒性,且算法的执行速度优于传统算法。 相似文献

In the thermal design of a fast reactor, it should be most effective to reduce hot spot factors to the lowest possible level compatible with safety considerations, in order to minimize the design margin for the temperature prevailing in the core. Hot spot factors account for probabilistic and statistic deviations from nominal value of fuel element temperatures, due to uncertainties in the data adopted for estimating various factors including the physical properties. Such temperature deviations necessitate the provision of correspondingly large design margins for temperatures in order to keep within permissible limits the probability of exceeding the allowable temperatures. Evaluation of the desired accuracy for hot spot factors is performed by a method of optimization, which permits determination of the degree of accuracy that should minimize the design margins, to give realistic results with consideration given not only to sensitivity coefficients but also to the present-day uncertainty levels in the data adopted in the calculations. A concept of “degree of difficulty” is introduced for the purpose of determining the hot spot factors to be given higher priority for reduction. Application of this method to the core of a prototype fast reactor leads to the conclusion that the hot spot factors to be given the highest priority are those relevant to the power distribution, the flow distribution, the fuel enrichment, the fuel-cladding gap conductance and the fuel thermal conductivity. 相似文献
